Introducing a New Podcast

After more than eight years of writing The Signal, we realized something: we’ve never actually introduced ourselves.

So—hello! 😃 We’re Kathy and Ted.

And we’re trying something new.

We’re launching a video podcast series where we take a coffee break with people who understand the railroad industry better than anyone. These will be real, face-to-face conversations about what’s happening across technology, safety, economics, and policy.

We’ll be trading off hosting duties, with the first episode dropping in next week’s Signal, another a few weeks after that, and then (fingers crossed) settling into a monthly rhythm.

The Signal newsletter isn’t going anywhere—this is just an add-on.
