As the leading trade association representing the railroad industry, the AAR is committed to providing an accessible and cost-effective seminar focused on key topics such as Interchange Rules, car repair billing, and other critical Mechanical Department functions.

Held every other year, the NARMO Seminar is organized by the AAR Arbitration & Rules Committee, the Car Repair Billing Committee and dedicated volunteer presenters. This event is open to all railroad personnel — both field and office — as well as private car owners, shippers, contract shops, leasing companies, fleet managers and other stakeholders.

The seminar is particularly valuable for professionals involved in car repair and billing, offering essential insights and training for routine tasks and strategic decision-making. It is also an excellent opportunity for up-and-coming mechanical department managers to enhance their expertise and grow their network.
