By Continuing to use aar.org, users agree to abide
by the following TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Copyright and Trademarks
The Association of American
Railroads (AAR) owns, licenses, and otherwise
has the right to use all the copyrighted material,
trademarks, and service marks on this site (aar.org).
Except where otherwise noted, users of aar.org
who are not employed by an AAR member may download
to one computer or print one copy of copyrighted
material from aar.org for personal, non-commercial
use only, without removing or modifying any copyright,
trademark, service mark, or other proprietary
notices; employees of AAR members may copy and
use any material, except as otherwise noted, provided
proprietary notices are not removed. AAR claims
no copyright for government works. If you believe
your copyright in a work has been infringed at
aar.org, please provide AAR's agent for receipt
of notices of infringement the following:
A physical or electronic signature of a person
authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an
exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed
to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted
works at a single online site are covered by a
single notification, a representative list of
such works at that site.
Identification of the material that is claimed
to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing
activity and that is to be removed or access to
which is to be disabled, and information reasonably
sufficient to permit the service provider to locate
the material.
Information reasonably sufficient to permit the
service provider to contact the complaining party,
such as an address, telephone number, and, if
available, an electronic mail address at which
the complaining party may be contacted.
A statement that the complaining party has a good
faith belief that use of the material in the manner
complained of is not authorized by the copyright
owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement that the information in the notification
is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that
the complaining party is authorized to act on
behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that
is allegedly infringed.

Access to Password-Protected
Areas
Password Security and Access to Password-Protected
Areas of aar.org Use of password-protected areas
of aar.org is restricted to authorized users only.
Unauthorized individuals attempting to access
password-protected areas are subject to prosecution.
Those with passwords agree to keep confidential
their user identifications and passwords and to
notify AAR in the event that a user identification
and/or password is compromised, lost, or stolen.
Liability
USE OF AAR.ORG IS AT THE SOLE RISK OF
THE USER. AAR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT AAR.ORG WILL
MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF ANY USER OF AAR.ORG,
THAT AAR.ORG WILL BE IN OPERATION AT ALL TIMES,
OR THAT AAR.ORG WILL BE WITHOUT ERROR OR VIRUS
FREE. AAR DOES NOT ASSUME ANY RESPONSIBILITY WHATSOEVER
ARISING FROM USE OF AAR.ORG, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER
NEGLIGENCE ON THE PART OF AAR MAY HAVE CAUSED
OR CONTRIBUTED TO ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE. AAR DISCLAIMS
ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH REGARD
TO AAR.ORG AND THE INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH
AAR.ORG, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES
OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE,
AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL AAR BE
LIABLE FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL,
CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES RESULTING
FROM USE OF AAR.ORG.

Links to other sites are
provided solely as a convenience. AAR exercises
no control over other sites and has no responsibility
with respect to other sites.
Indemnification
By using this site, users
agree to indemnify AAR
for any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses
arising from their breach of these terms.
Privacy
Policy
Generally, users can visit aar.org without
revealing information about the user. If AAR asks
users for personal information, AAR will usually
let users know how the information will be used.
AAR uses cookies to provide users with tailored
information. Cookies are text files placed in
users' browsers that enable AAR to provide users
of aar.org with better service. For example, through
cookies AAR can save users' passwords in protected
areas, enable users to purchase products on-line,
and offer users appropriate information. Cookies
do not enable AAR to learn e-mail addresses or
other information identifying users personally;
but AAR may link cookies to information identifying
users that has been provided by users in response
to a specific request by aar.org.
Submission of
Material to www.aar.org
Users shall not upload, post,
or otherwise make available at aar.org any material
protected by copyright, trademark, or other proprietary
right without the express permission of the owner
of the proprietary right. Users shall be solely
liable for any damage resulting from any infringement
of proprietary rights by their submissions to
aar.org.
By submitting material to aar.org, users
grant, or warrant that a third-party owner of
the material has granted: i) AAR an irrevocable,
royalty-free, world-wide, non-exclusive right
to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute
the material; and 2) users of aar.org the right
to download to one computer or print one copy
of the material for personal, non-commercial use,
without removing or modifying any copyright, trademark,
service mark, or other proprietary notices. Users
have full responsibility for the content of their
submissions, including legality and appropriateness.
Users may not use language or post content that
is obscene, pornographic, profane, or defamatory.
